STRAIGHT OUTTA FLANDERS
The Telethons are destined for great things. Simply a drum n’ guitar duo, they mix really fun songs that make you want to hop around, with really clever lyrics. Kind of like if Jeffrey Lewis or Daniel Johnston drank a lot of coffee before performing.
Did I mention how friggin’ catchy their songs are? After seeing them live, you’ll have “chord, chord, chord, chord” stuck in your head, I guarantee it. I still do.
Here’s a fun fact: The Telethons’ first show took place at Giants Stadium… as part of the Mount Olive High School Marching Band. Catch them at New York’s Sidewalk Cafe on Feburary 25th.
