DEAD BUGS
STRAIGHT OUTTA FLEMINGTON
Falling somewhere between Devendra Banhart and Beach House, the music of Dead Bugs is perfect late-night, I’m-about-to-fall-asleep-but-I’m-just-not-there-yet music. These are good songs to begin with, but behind the haunting effects, music they sound as if they were echoing off of a mountain.
Dead Bugs is also prolific, releasing five albums/EPs in the past year. There are no upcoming dates listed, but his live show incorporates visual elements as well. I’m looking forward to seeing this act live sometime in the near future.
